22 Years Memphis Store Clerk Sentenced

Happy Friday, Social Media Network is reporting that a store clerk from Memphis has been sentenced to 22 years in prison for fatally shooting a 17 yr old, who they say was shoplifting. In 2018 on March 29, at Top Stop Shop the store clerk 30 pulled a 40-caliber handgun from under the store counter after he said the 17 year old grabbed a beer from the cooler around 10 pm, and chased after him, firing several rounds killing him. Social Media Network is reporting the clerk didn't call police and the 17 yr old body was found two days later, social media is also reporting that the 30 yr old store clerk, took it upon himself to be the judge and jury and the executioner over a $2 beer. When sentenced he received 22 years with no possibility of parole. We are also learning that when the 17 yr old was shot in killed, it drew national attention as yet another case of a black boy killed over something seemingly trivial.
