Aretha Louise Franklin dies at 76


Good Morning, it is with sad news, to report from the social media network, that The Queen of Soul Aretha Louise Franklin aka Ree Ree has passed away, around 9am sometime at her home near Detroit. Social Media reported that Ms. Franklin was in hospice care, after repost sored the internet, saying she was gravely ill. The Queen of Soul was surrounded by friends and family like Stevie Wonder ( Singer) and (Rev.) Jesse Jackson. The cause of death was reported to be advanced pancreatic cancer.

If you recall The Queen of Soul was the first woman inducted into Rock and Roll of Hall of fame in 1987, this is just some of the song we know of and still hear today being played, like Amazing Grace, A Rose is Still a Rose, Chain of Fools, and Yes RESPECT, the icon won a total of 18 Grammy Awards and is one of the best-selling musical artists of all time. Ms. Franklin sung at the 2009 inauguration of President Obama " My Country 'Tis of Thee", Ms. Franklin in 2010 accepted an honorary degree from Yale University. Ms. Franklin was given the Presidential Medal of Freedom on November 9th 2005 at the White House, another cool fact, even an Asteroid 249516 Aretha was named in her honor back in 2014. June 8th 2017 the city of Detroit honored Ms. Franklin by renaming a portion of Madison Street ( Aretha Franklin Way) ( Filmography): Blues Brothers 2000 The Zen of Bennett (2012) - Muscle Shoals (2013).
