Funeral Arrangements Not Yet Set for The Late John Witherspoon

It with sad news to report that 77 yr old comedian and actor John Witherspoon, who starred in Friday has passed away on October 29th at his home in Sherman Oaks, his family said in a statement. We all know him to be the hilarious father-figure who we know as POPS. The cause of death has not been release yet, however Funeral Arrangements are being planned. John Witherspoon was born in Detroit Michigan, he kicked off his career as a stand-up comedian back in the 1970s.. Pops is best known for playing Ice Cube's father in the movie Friday. We also know him who played John Pops Witherspoon in the sitcom The Wayans Bros, as well as being on the The Tracy Morgan Show, movies like Boomerang and Vampire in Brooklyn. Witherspoon also voiced "Granddad" in the animated show "The Boondocks" from 2005 to 2014.
